I'm not sure if it's the warm summer weather or not, but something has pushed me into a nail polish obsession recently. I'm constantly changing the color of my nails, and I recently discovered some gorgeous new shades from Orly that I can't wait to share with you!
Orly was kind enough to send me a few polishes to review, and I am beyond impressed with the range of colors, application, and staying power of these Orly polishes from the Pinup and Precious collections. All of the colors are amazing, and every single polish was opaque in ONE coat.
Pinup Collection
Orly Nail Polish in Va Va Voom
Va Va Voom is such a fun summer neon pink with a hint of red. I'm a huge fan of bright, in-your-face colors, so Va Va Voom is definitely going to become a summer staple for me!
Precious Collection
Orly Nail Polish in Ancient Jade
Ancient Jade is a beautiful pastel green creme. Light green shades are a personal weakness of mine, and this color did not disappoint. Ancient Jade is a perfect colors for all seasons.
Orly Nail Polish in Gilded Coral
Gilded Coral was such a surprise for me. I think this shade is really unique- a pale coral base with gold shimmer. It seemed like a sheer topcoat in the bottle, and while Gilded Coral would be incredible on top of a darker color, it's surprisingly opaque and beautiful on its own.
Orly Nail Polish in Sapphire Silk
Sapphire Silk is a really nice dark teal polish that is going to be perfect for fall and winter! Despite its dark shade, I still think this is a fun shade for summer!
Orly Nail Polish in Pure Porcelain
I am now undeniably obsessed with Pure Porcelain. It is the most perfect neutral creme color, and unlike some nudes, it does not blend into your skin completely. Pure Porcelain has more a white base than most neutral polishes, and it's really flattering on all skin tones. I'm actually considering using this shade for my wedding now- definitely a new favorite!
Orly Nail Polish in Fancy Fuchsia
I've previously mentioned my love for Fancy Fuchsia in my May Favorites post, and I still can't get over how fun this perfect pink is! Fancy Fuchsia is a blue-toned fuchsia pink creme that Barbie would be proud to wear.
Overall, I am SO thrilled with the results I got from Orly's nail polishes. The colors are so unique and perfect for summer, and the application was incredible. Every single nail polish was opaque in one coat! I can't wait to see the new polishes from Orly's new collection Happy Go Lucky! Make sure you check out Orly's Facebook, Twitter, and website for more information!
